Welcome to the International Student Admissions Test (ISAT) website. This site is for international students applying to medicine, dentistry, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy courses at a selection of universities. Some other courses require special categories of applicants to sit for ISAT. The University will notify you if you are required to sit for the test. Please read the information on this website carefully to learn about ISAT, and what is involved with registering and sitting for the test.
What is ISAT?
ISAT is a 3-hour computer-based multiple-choice test designed to assess a candidate's intellectual skills and abilities that are the foundation of academic success at tertiary level. The test is independently developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). ACER has an excellent international reputation and track record in the development, management and research of selection tests for undergraduate medical and health related programs. ISAT is administered as a computer-based test through ProctorU globally.
